Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre is the largest health science centre in the Maritimes. The QEII provides many different health programs and services such as:

IWK Health Centre The Isaac Walton Killam Hospital attends to the health of women, children and families from across the Maritimes. The hospital’s medical and dental staff specialize in the areas of:

The IWK Grace hospital is known to be one of the best maternity hospitals in Canada. Most women from Halifax and the surrounding areas go there to give birth.

Dartmouth General Hospital has both in and out patient, and emergency services. It also operates the Diabetes Education Centre.

Cobequid Community Health Centre is an emergency medical centre and a walk in clinic for people with less serious emergency medical needs. The centre also has blood clinics and other testing procedures.
