A 30-year employee of the airline industry.
Political Career
First elected to the Legislative Assembly in June 2006. From 2000, he was an HRM Councillor for District 21 Bedford. From 1988-1996, he was a Town of Bedford Councillor.
Community Involvement
A long-time community activist, Len has served on the planning advisory committee from 1987 to present, for eight years on the Bedford Watershed Advisory Committee, for 12 years on the Bedford Days committee and as co-chair for the Terry Fox Run. Additionally, Len lends his time and talents to the Bedford Volunteer Recognition Committee, the Bedford Lite Up Parade committee, the Papermill Lake Advisory committee, the tree committee, the Fort Sackville Foundation Board, the Children's Safety Village Board and the Bedford Youth Centre. He has been a member of the board of directors for Destination Halifax since its inception.
Family
Len and his wife Lucie have two daughters, Kim, Christina and a grandson Noah.
