Volunteering
Volunteering your time or services can be a very rewarding experience for people of all ages, cultures and educational backgrounds. It provides an opportunity to learn more about specific fields and occupations. It also shows potential employers that you are a person who cares about the community and the well-being of those around you.
When registering to volunteer with an organization, you might be asked to provide experiences and references. Depending upon the volunteer opportunities a background criminal record check will also be requested.
